Sparsham (Touch) - A Healing, A Spiritual Genre Short Film A writer with an injured finger prays to Hanuman for healing as he places a flower on Hanuman's blessing palm. He comes across a picture of Shiva and Annapurna Devi unexpectedly in a park bench he visits daily to write. He is unable to use his right palm to write normally as before. With curiosity he picks up the picture and tries to imitate the folded palm of Divine Mother, but is frustrated as he is unable to perform this simple gesture. From a feeling of dejection he enters a calm state looking on at the picture. He closes his eyes and enters a state of inner peace placing the picture on his lap. The benevolence of Divine Mother appears in his inner vision and makes him cognizant of his innate Divinity. In this state of deep contemplation, he is miraculously healed with a Divine Touch through a healing light emanating at his injured palm touching the picture. At the same time this grace is conveyed through the fall of the flower he had offered to Hanuman's blessing palm and a leaf that falls from the tree under which he is sitting, onto his injured palm. All of these events enable him to clench his palm as before unexpectedly. Through these chain of mystical/unexplained occurrences he is moved by the healing he receives from the Divine touch (Sparsham) emanating from his state of inner peace and wisdom.
